Federal Reserve Chairman, Ben Bernanke, grants a rare interview with CBS during the height of the financial crisis. Bernanke gives his opinion on the events at the time, the economic outlook, the government intervention in financial institutions e.g. AIG, as well as an interesting look into his background. The setter of monetary policy is always in a position where people will make accusations of excessive power, and of doing too much or too little at various phases of the cycle. Bernanke has drawn a lot of criticism, but whatever your opinion of him it is worth watching this report.
