The hedge fund industry's answer to the Apprentice; Million Dollar Traders is a must watch for aspiring traders as well as those with curiosity about the world of trading and financial markets. Eight ordinary people are given a million dollars and a fortnight of intensive training to run their own hedge fund. Hedge fund manager Lex van Dam wants to see if they can beat the professionals.
In Episode 2 each member of the team becomes a little more comfortable in trading, while one contestant leaves. Lex van Dam also raises the amount of capital that each trader has been allocated, in effort to assist the traders in making back the losses that they racked up.
