Another lecture series, this clip features some distinguished speakers who talk about issues in financial mathematics and statistics. The lectures took place at the inauguration of the Center for Research in Financial Mathematics and Statistics (CRFMS) and UC Santa Barbara. These days the mathematics of finance have become increasingly advanced, indeed some of the highest value trading that goes on these days is conducted by PhDs - the Quants, so it pays to understand some of the theory and issues in this area.
