Who's Got God's Millions?

This slightly irreverent documentary investigates which of the world's four major monotheistic religions have the most money (wealth and income). The presenter, Robert Llewellyn, opens by saying 'as an atheist I've always wondered how much money the faiths keep stuffed under the mattress'  - particularly during a time of global financial turmoil with banks and institutions going to the brink. Indeed, it brings to question how financially important are these spiritually important institutions? Robert Llewellyn finds out in the course of his investigation just how devoid of transparency and openness some of the religious organisations are (particularly when it comes to matters such as finances), making his quest somewhat difficult. The documentary makes for entertaining and enlightening viewing, and you'll be surprised to learn just which religion has the most wealth in terms of income and assets!
